The Digital Technology Entrepreneur Trade Association, or DTE, was established on 7 February 2022 with a shared belief that the growth of Thailand’s digital economy cannot be driven by any single organization alone. It requires collaboration among entrepreneurs, technology professionals, government agencies, educational institutions, investors, and industry partners.
DTE was founded to serve as a central platform for connecting, supporting, and representing digital technology entrepreneurs. We are committed to helping our members strengthen their capabilities, operate according to recognized standards, access new opportunities, and compete effectively in both domestic and international markets.
DTE began with a clear purpose: to address the common challenges faced by entrepreneurs operating in the digital and technology sectors. These challenges include access to skilled professionals and tech talent, legal and regulatory complexity, funding opportunities, business education, market expansion, and the development of meaningful business networks.
The Association brings together the knowledge, experience, and resources of its members and partners to transform shared challenges into opportunities for collective progress. We believe that a strong digital ecosystem should enable businesses of all sizes to access the talent, knowledge, capital, markets, and partnerships they need to succeed.
DTE’s mission is guided by four strategic pillars that define how we create value for our members and contribute to the development of Thailand’s digital economy.
We connect entrepreneurs with industry leaders, technology professionals, investors, government agencies, academic institutions, and business partners. Through our network, members can exchange knowledge, explore collaborations, develop new initiatives, and access opportunities locally and internationally.
We promote professional standards, responsible business practices, ethical conduct, and service quality across the digital technology industry. By encouraging recognized standards and best practices, we strengthen trust in Thai digital businesses and improve their readiness to compete internationally.
DTE represents the perspectives, priorities, and challenges of digital technology entrepreneurs. We engage relevant stakeholders and contribute to policies, regulations, and initiatives that support innovation, fair competition, and sustainable economic growth.
We support members through access to knowledge, talent, funding, technology, markets, and strategic partnerships. Our goal is to help digital entrepreneurs improve competitiveness, expand their businesses, and create lasting value for Thailand’s economy and society.
DTE serves as a bridge between digital entrepreneurs and the wider business ecosystem. We facilitate collaboration among businesses, government agencies, academic institutions, investors, technology providers, and international organizations. By bringing these stakeholders together, we aim to accelerate innovation, strengthen industry capabilities, and create new opportunities for Thai digital enterprises.
The Association also seeks to become a trusted source of industry knowledge and insights by gathering information from members, identifying shared challenges, and contributing evidence-based recommendations to discussions on Thailand’s digital development.
DTE is currently led by its second Board of Directors, comprising 18 executives and entrepreneurs from across the digital technology industry.
Each board member contributes professional expertise, practical business experience, and a strong network of industry relationships. Together, they provide strategic direction and ensure that the Association’s activities reflect the real needs and priorities of its members.
The diversity of the Board enables DTE to address opportunities and challenges from multiple perspectives, including technology, business development, talent, education, investment, governance, and public policy.
